BECOMING A MEMBER entitles you to our monthly VOTER, the local newsletter, and quarterly newsletters from the state and national League. You will be able to purchase League publications at a discount. You are invited to monthly meetings and to serve on committees. Members choose the program at the annual meeting, and decide League positions by consensus.
We provide opportunities for members to become involved based on their individual interests and level of commitment. Action calls are issued regularly encouraging members to contact legislators on issues of importance to the League. Members become involved in Voters Service programs, welcoming new citizens, election reporting and a variety of activities.
Membership is open to citizens ( both women and men ) over 18. Others are welcome to become associate members.
